Update 8/21/2024: I don't know if this changed for the latest patch, but I was able to find him with the VIP tracker on a high level character AFTER destroying the Institute, and travel with him. Although his AI does cause immediate aggression with anyone in the railroad hideout, he does allow Railroad players (REPRESENT) to assist Railroad Checkpoints in the world without issue. If this is a glitch, I've no idea how I pulled it off, and it's running extremely smoothly. All I did, so far as I know, was do Institute missions with him as my companion a couple of times, then ditch him to complete the Railroad Ending on this character.

It's not letting me talk to the settlers after I've saved a settler

I actually WANT these quests rn for companion friendship farming but it takes forever without these quests

Bro this lady keeps appearing everywhere I land and starts shooting at me, ever since I picked up that godforsaken talisman thingmajig. I keep knocking her but she gets into a non-interactable loop until the next time I land somewhere and she attacks. Damn bugs.

I prefer the “Minutemen destroy all except railroad” ending because I like to sorta RP that the railroad is like the CIA guys and the Minutemen is “everything else”. The BoS is too evil to allow it’s continued existence and the Institute is just too stupid to really exist.

Nothing's more satisfying than to see that bigot fools meet their end.

Calling this ending peaceful is crazy since the brotherhood and the railroad are STILL in a war

How do you activate the mission??

This was kind of "cringe" to watch. Like destroying de BoS with Minutemen doesn't really make much sense like doing it with Railroad or Institute. Seems more just like an excuse for the more chaotic players or whatever

1:Go inside the Institute 2:Kill the father guy or simply start shooting. 3:Quest will begin to escape. Escape the institute and go to preston.Munimens quests will begin to end the institute.

hey @DerrickCGaming its posible to get this ending after completing "show no mercy"? i have been reading that if you complete it its imposible to get BoS and RR alive at the same time

I destroyed the institute as Minuteman General and was still aligned with the Railroad and Brotherhood. BUT if you do this the Brotherhood will also ask you to start extorting settlements… so they had to go in the end

How do you get the gun that you were using against the planes

I don't know if this has been asked, but I read somewhere that if you do the institute quest to blow it up, while X6 is your active companion, he doesn't become hostile and still remains your friend. Do you know if this is true? ...meaning, he helps you complete the quest...

Well, I would add to this that playing Far Harbor and meeting Dima has also messed things up a bit in that I can not go forward without telling Kells about the Synths there. As I am very in line with the Railroad, I can just not do that to them. It has not allowed me to warn the BOS about Mass Fusion so now looking for another way to end with the factions alligned. Wish me luck. :)

Quick psa that failing Blind Betrayal removes Danse from available companions. Just happened on my playthrough and confirmed it on Fandom wiki. Great ending though, it's worth it.

I usually fast track this: Join the Minutemen Join the railroad - do enough quests to get ballistic weave Find the institute - get magazine, serum, and the Experiment 18-a - take serum to Virgil Join the BOS - Don't do Show No Mercy Shoot the courser during The Battle Of Bunker Hill Go talk to Shaun and call him a lunatic (since there's no option for "Why don't I have grandkids?" Use the Minutemen to destroy the Institute (after issuing the evacuation order). Go to Mass Fusion and party. I miss out on X6-88's perk, as well as Danse's (I never get the Blind Betrayal quest) - and never get the rank of Paladin (although there is a console command that gets you the rank of Sentinel). But at least Danse gets to stay as a BOS soldier - his life's goal. I also miss out on Liam's guilt trip suicide letter. You can get all this done pretty quickly, leaving you free to visit Far Harbor and Nuka World with all this done.

The Rail Road side quests are not required to do. I skipped most of them and I was able to still continue
